Thunder clap - recorded with a sony ecm-ms957 stereo mic and a sony pcm-d50 recorder on june 26 2013 at 9:46pm in owensboro kentucky usa.

A marimba note being struck while thrown in to the air. Can't remember the mic that was used but it was a condensor mic. This was recorded in my room so unfortunately the signal to ambient noise ratio isn't great. The sound can be used for free (though it would be great to hear about what you do with it). It may not be re-distributed as it is, or as part of a compiled sound library.
